Review: Olympus EVOLT E-330 DSLR

Posted in Olympus on 10-17-2006

Olympus E330 Digital CameraAs a follow-up to the E-300, the Olympus EVOLT E-330 is a successful improvement with excellent image quality up to ISO 400, with ISO 800 usable. It also handles and operates better and provides lots of customizable settings.

By providing the first ever Live View LCD on a DSLR and tons of easy-to-use Scene Modes, the Olympus EVOLT E-330 seems to be targeting the amateur photographers who want to make the jump from consumer P&S digicams to a DSLR but are not quite sure they want to leave behind all the good stuff they are used to.

The Olympus EVOLT E-330 has the image quality and flexibility that advanced amateur photographers desire in a digital SLR but seems to be also targeting the beginner amateur photographers who want to make the jump to a Digital SLR with its Live View LCD and Scene Modes.

    I’m interested in purchasing an
Olympus Evolt camera but notice that
zoom lens is not stated in any of the
specs . I need a zoom lens as well as
an lcd screen & viewing window and 8
MP. Which of the Evolt from Olympus
have these options if any? I currently
own an Olympus C3000 and am looking
to upgrade and am used to shooting without using the motion lcd screen but the viewing window. Thanks
